First I started by researching the entire site and pinpointing key locations, I also looked into the ecological zones and places that could be improved.

From here, I wanted to find a set aesthetic for my design that would not limit me to specific colours and may lead to creating a storyline.

In order to create a storyline-like design I looked into the Industrial revolution and its effects on the Thames and wildlife surrounding.

I began mapping features that I would like to include within the site. Quickly after this I realised that I had pushed too far into the Thames and my island idea became an unrealistic addition.

The approach I needed was one of structure and minimalism so I kept designing through collage rather than mapping to make my design more linear.
